Without the businesses that fund the services of the Better Business Bureau, 16,600 consumers wouldn’t have had someone to turn to last year to help them have their complaints heard by the company. More than ¾ of a million people wouldn’t have known who to ask about the reliability of a company in Utah. Yes, some government agencies handle complaints and there are yellow pages and other online sources to check out companies – but the BBB still stands alone in providing information to consumers.
